TANNER BRUFFEY
OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior forward from
Lubbock, Texas has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, January 7 through Sunday, January 13.
Bruffey averaged 22.5 points and six rebounds per
game to help Dallas to a split of its two games against visiting
Colorado College over the weekend. He shot 64.3 percent (18 of 28)
from the floor including connecting on 7 of his 14 shots from
beyond the arc.
Bruffey scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds during Friday’s 68-64 overtime win over Colorado College. He made 6 of 10 field-goal attempts (.600) while dishing out two assists.
