ELIZABETH PETERS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from El Paso, Texas, has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets through Sunday, April 15th.
Peters ran a season best in the 100, 200, and 4x100 at the UIW Invitational.
In the 100 meter dash, she finished in eighth place with a time of 12.45 seconds. She took seventh in the 200 meter dash, finishing in 25.58 seconds.
Peters closed out her successful day in the 4x100 relay, running the anchor leg to lead the team to a second-place finish with a time of 48.88 seconds.
