ASHLEY RYNARD OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Temple, Texas, has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets through Sunday February 25th.
Rynard won the women's 800 meters at the Trinity University Open with a time of 2 minutes, 16.63 seconds.
Rynard also anchored the Bulldogs' winning 4x400 relay team. TLU won the relay with a time of 4:04.04.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Andy Garza of Trinity University won the 400h at the Trinity Open with a time of 1:05.85.
