BRYCE FRANK OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a junior forward from Granbury, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Player-of-the-Week for her performance at the McWilliams Classic tournament this past weekend.
Frank averaged 21.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game at the tournament.
The 'Roos knocked off no. 13 Washington University in the tournament championship where Frank had a stand-out game. Frank scored an impressive 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the 85-77 point win.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Michelle DeCoud of the University of Dallas became the 14th player in UD history to achieve 1,000 career points and currently leads the conference with 9.3 rebouds per game. Sophomore center Cecily Woolfolk of Southwestern University had 31 points in the Pirates' loss to Howard Payne this weekend. Freshman forward Abby Hroch of Texas Lutheran University posted a double-double in last weeks match against Mary Hardin-Baylor. She scored 13 points and took down 10 rebounds.
