ASHLEY CHRISTIAN OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore outfielder from Kingsport, Tenn., has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 5 through Sunday, March 11.

Christian hit .526 (10-19) in six games to help Centre go 3-3 on the week. The sophomore outfielder scored six runs, hit two doubles, drove in a run, walked three times and stole five bases, while compiling a .591 on-base percentage as the team’s lead-off hitter. She hit safely in all six games, including three multi-hit games and played an errorless outfield on the week. She is now hitting .429 on the year to lead the team.
