DENNY MASK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from Tulsa, Okla., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 17 through Sunday, September 23.

Mask led Trinity to a pair of wins to open up the SCAC schedule last weekend, defeating Dallas on Friday, and shutting out Colorado College Sunday afternoon.

Mask and the Tiger defense allowed just one goal over the weekend, which came late in the 4-1 win over Dallas. Trinity allowed 17 total shots in the two games, and just seven of those were shots on goal.

For the season, Trinity has now recorded five shutouts in nine games, and has allowed more than one goal just once. Mask has two goals on the year, which includes one game-winning goal.
