MICHELLE OBERNDORF OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Aurora, Colo., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Sunday, September 21st.

Oberndorf led Trinity’s women’s cross country team to its second win in as many races over the weekend, defeating all non-DI competition at the UTSA/Ricardo Romo Classic.

Oberndorf finished in fourth place overall, and led the Tigers in scoring 37 points to earn the victory on Friday. She raced the 5K event in 19:32.8 to lead the Trinity women for the second time this year.

For the season, Oberndorf has led the Tigers to a pair of victories, and has finished in the top five overall in both events. She has been the top Division III female in both races so far this season.
