VANESSA MORENO
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from El Paso,
Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country
Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 1.
Moreno won her first collegiate cross country individual title at the Alamo City Opener hosted by Trinity. Her time of 15:09 on the 4k course was 12 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.
Moreno lead the Trinity women to a second place team finish behind Division II University of the Incarnate Word.
