SCAC Women's Cross Country Recap - Week Four

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Just two of the league's seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's cross country teams were in action this past week.

The Southwestern women placed sixth at the Concordia Texas Invitational Saturday morning at Balcones Country Club.

The Pirates were paced by a 20th-place finish by sophomore Trinh Ha, who circled the 6,000-meter course in 28:29. Morgan Fortieth followed Ha in 21st place with a time of 28:32.

The Texas Lutheran women competed at Southwestern Assemblies of God and walked away with a 16-point victory (21 to 37). 

Bulldog senior Sarah Fritzsche was the second individual across the finish line as she covered the 5,000 meter course in a time of 20 minutes, 54.69 seconds. Destiny Garzy of SAGU won the women's contest with a time of 19:04.56.
