DEVON LUCERO OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore setter from Pueblo, Colo., has been named SCAC Volleyball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 3.

Lucero was voted Most Valuable Player of the Colorado College Invitational after leading the Tigers to a 4-0 record and the tournament title.

In addition to helping CC post a .232 attack percentage, Lucero added 11 kills, 35 digs and had a hand in a team-high 13 total blocks. During the come-from-behind victory against Augsburg College, she recorded weekend highs of 58 assists, 13 digs and five blocks.
