ERIN CUSENBARY
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore middle blocker
from San Antonio, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 17
through Sunday, September 23.
Cusenbary led the Tiger volleyball team to a
weekend sweep at the SCAC Divisional in Georgetown, Texas,
including a 3-2 win over 16th-ranked Colorado College.
Cusenbary averaged 2.25 kills/set and hit .297 for
the weekend, as well as tallying eight blocks for the Tigers.
Cusenbary hit .421 with 10 kills and just two
errors in Friday’s win over Colorado College, as well as
picking up six blocks. In the weekend finale against Austin
College, she recorded double-digit kills (11) for the fourth time
this year.
For the season, Cusenbary is third on the team
with 90 total kills and an average of 1.96 kills/set, but she leads
the Tigers with a .259 hitting percentage. She is also the
team leader with 34 total blocks (0.74 blocks/set).
