MOLLY MCCULLOUGH OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Portland, Ore., has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets through Sunday, April 9th.
McCullough ran a new personal best in the 1,500 meters last week at the University of the Incarnate Word Invitational, finishing the race in 4:48.09. This time ranks third in the conference.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Jalynn Ashley of Southwestern University broke a 13-year old SU record in the 100 meter dash, finishing with a time of 12.94 seconds.
