ABIGAIL SCHNEEBECK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Albuquerque, N.M., has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets through Sunday, April 2nd.
Schneebeck ran a personal-best time of 1:04.86 in the 400 meter hurdles on Friday at the Trinity Invitational, as well as tying her personal best in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.28 seconds.
Schneebeck currently leads the league in both events.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Samantha Gilbert of Colorado College recorded a time of 12.75 for the 100 meters to take sixth place, while she took fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 26.42. Both of these times place her fourth among the conference in the respective events.
