JACKIE NEWELL OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior runner from Frankfort, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Women's Track Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted through Sunday, February 24.
Newell won the steeplechase at the Trinity University Open with a 30 second PR of 11:35. That time puts her third all-time at Trinity.
