DANI FREUND OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first year from Kennewick, Wash. has been selected the SCAC Women's Diver-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, November 23rd.

Freund stepped up this weekend in Trinity's dual meet with Claremont McKenna of California and served notice that she is a going to be a player on the diving boards as the 2014-15 season unfolds.

On Friday night she put together a solid string of six dives during the 3-meter contest, edging out team-mate Mollie Patzke 287.25 to 287.15.

Saturday afternoon, Freund put up a score of 309.90 to take the six dive event going away. Four Trinity divers will advance to the 2015 NCAA Regional Qualifying Meet for the March national championships, including Freund after this past weekend of competition.
