JESSICA VARNER OF CENTENARY COLLEGE was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's Golfer of the Week for competitions through September 29.

Varner earned All-Tournament honors at the University of Texas-Tyler/Al Jones Invitational this week, firing off a 160 to finish in fifth place. The Ladies finished in eight place in the tournament.

After one round, Varner sat in a tie for third place with a 78 (+6). She turned in an 82 on the final day to move into fifth.

This tournament marked the first collegiate for Varner.
