TAYLOR GARCIA
OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore utility
from Pflugerville, Texas has been selected the SCAC Softball
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 8
through Sunday, April 14.
Garcia led Dallas to a 4-0 record in
non-conference play during the week.
Garcia hit .706 (12-17) with seven doubles, 14 RBI, 10 runs scored and two walks in four games against Sarah Lawrence College. She tallied an incredible .750 on-base percentage while slugging at a 1.588 clip to post a 2.338 OPS (On-base + Slugging) for the week.
