STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference (SCAC) placed eight student-athletes on the
2011 Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association
(NFCA) Division III All-Region teams. DePauw University placed a
league-high five players on the All-Region teams followed by
Southwestern University, which placed two on the All-Region
teams.
The SCAC was well represented as a league. Not only did eight
student-athletes make the teams, but three of the league's 10
softball teams had at least one student-athlete selected. Rhodes
College (1) joined DePauw and Southwestern with honorees
on the All-Region teams.
DePauw's Emma Minx (Central Region At-Large) was
the lone student-athlete named First-Team All-Region.
