Langselius; Piske Compete at NCAA Men's Cross Country Championship

WINNECONNE, Wisc. - Trinity University's Oliver Langselius and Taylor Piske competed Saturday morning at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship meet at Lake Breeze Golf Club. Official Results

Langselius, the reigning SCAC Newcomer-of-the-Year, finished in 149th place in a time of 25:46.5 in a field of 278 runners.

"Today was a great learning experience for Oliver," said Trinity head coach Emily Daum. "He finished 149th, the best finish for a Trinity male runner (at the national meet) since 2008 and the seventh-best all-time."

Piske, the 2015 SCAC Runner-of-the-Year, came in 179th in a time of 25:56.1.

"Taylor's finish also puts him in the top 10 for Trinity," continued Daum. "I know its not exactly what he was hoping for, but he put in a ton of work to get here and I'm very proud of him."
