Austin Michaelis, Trinity University, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 4)
AUSTIN MICHAELIS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Coppell, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches beginning September 18th.
 
Michaelis led the sixth-ranked Tiger men's soccer team to a pair of SCAC road victories over the weekend, defeating both Texas Lutheran and Southwestern.
 
Michaelis ripped off the game-winning goal in both games, tallying five of Trinity's seven goals scored on the weekend. After a scoreless first half at Texas Lutheran, Michaelis scored three consecutive second-half goals for his first career hat trick - and the first Trinity hat trick since the 2014 season.
 
Against Southwestern, Michaelis netted both of Trinity's goals in a 2-0 win to complete the SCAC weekend sweep. For the season, Michaelis now leads Trinity with six goals to go with three assists, and he is now tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior midfielder Joel Frykholm of Colorado College scored the game-winning goal in Friday's 3-0 victory over Austin College which came into the game tied for first in the SCAC. Sophomore forward Chima Ogueri of the University of Dallas netted a pair of goals and added an assist for a team-high five points in Friday's shutout over Centenary College.
