BRIAN HINES OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Tempe, Ariz., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 3 through Sunday, September 9.
Hines led Trinity to three home victories
over the last week, defeating Willamette, UT-Dallas, and
Hardin-Simmons. Hines tallied two goals and one
assist for the weekend, all of which came in an overtime win over
Willamette on Monday afternoon.
He netted the game’s first goal early in the first half, then assisted on the game-tying goal with less than 10 minutes left in regulation. In overtime, Hines broke free with just over three minutes left to nail the game-winner.
