CONNOR SILVESTRI OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a sophomore forward from Conway, Ark., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, August 30 through Sunday, September 5.

Silvestri led the Warriors to a 1-1 opening week by scoring all the teams goals. He tallied four scores in the season-opening 4-2 win over East Texas Baptist University on Wednesday, just one goal shy of his own program record of five goals in a game. 

Silvestri then recorded the Warriors' lone goal in a 2-1 loss at LeTourneau University on Friday night. His goal total is now five goals in the regular season and nine goals if you count Hendrix's two preseason wins. 

Silvestri is on pace to break junior forward Duncan Keegan's program record of 13 goals in a season and Jeremy Baker's (1994-97) record of 19 goals in a career, Silvestri now has 14 goals as a sophomore.
