CHASE MURPHY OF COLORADO COLLEGE a first-year goalkeeper from Cohasset, Maine, has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 11 through Sunday, March 17.

Murphy stopped 18 of 24 shots faced to lead Colorado College to a pair of victories last week.

During Wednesday’s 9-4 victory over Wheaton College, Murphy made four saves. In Saturday’s 7-2 win against Babson College, he turned aside 14 shots and allowed a season-low two goals.

It marked the third time this season Murphy has recorded double-digit saves and the third game in a row he held an opponent to fewer than five goals.
