KEVIN WYLIE OF COLORADO COLLEGE a first-year midfielder from Denver, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 26 through Sunday, April 1.

Wylie won 18 of 29 face-offs (.621) and collected 13 ground balls to help lead Colorado College to a pair of road victories last weekend.

During Friday’s 9-5 victory at Birmingham-Southern, Wylie won 12 of 17 face-offs (.706) and grabbed a game-high six ground balls. He scored CC’s second goal 4:09 into the contest after winning the draw, scooping up the ground ball and putting a shot in the BSC cage in a span of four seconds.

In Sunday’s 21-2 win at Oglethorpe, Wylie recorded a team-high seven ground balls and won six of 12 face-offs. Wylie leads Colorado College with 40 ground balls and has won slightly more than 58-percent of his team-leading 74 face-offs.
