MICHAEL CATHEY OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a sophomore from Little Rock, Ark., has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 8.

Cathey fired a first-round 77 at the Mississippi College invitational in cold/windy conditions at Black Bear Golf Club in Delhi, LA.  The second round was cancelled due to weather.
