JONATHAN BROWN
OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from
Houston, Texas has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, November 22 through Sunday, November
29.
Brown scored 26 points in the Pirates' 75-72 win
at Hardin-Simmons. He connected on 9-of-17 shots (.529) while
adding 12 rebounds. Brown also sank 8-of-11 free
throws and chipped in with four offensive rebounds as the Pirates
improved to 3-1 on the season.
For the season, Brown is averaging 16 points per game, shooting .510 from the floor and averaging 6.5 rebounds a game.
