BAILEY DRURY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Tampa, Fla., has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets held Monday, March 4th through Sunday April 10th.
Drury ran the 4x100, 4x400, 200, and 400 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational. She placed 10th in the 400 with a time of 59.17, 15th out of 83 with a 26.02 in the 200, and was part of 8th and 6th place 4x100 (49.3) and 4x400 (4:07.76) teams.
Drury is the conference leader in the 200, 400 and part of the conference leading times in both the 4x100 and 4x400.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Tori Carraway of Southwestern University placed 5th (1st D-III) in the 100 hurdles at the University of the Incarnate Word T&F Meet on Saturday. Sophomore Duranya Freeman of Colorado College ran her first 400 meters for the Colorado College with a 1:00.88 which ranks her 3rd in the SCAC.
