MEREDITH BERGER OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Weimar, Texas, has been named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for meets held Monday, March 6th through Sunday March 13th.

Berger took first place overall in the javelin competition at the primarily Division 1 meet at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She won by nearly 5 feet over second place. She leads the SCAC in the event. She was also took fifth place at the same meet in the Shot Put competition. She also leads the SCAC in the event.
