VANECIA SPENCER OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Grandview, Texas, did a little bit of everything for the Bulldogs in 2014. She earned SCAC Female Track & Field Athlete of the Meet honors at the 2014 SCAC Track & Field Championship after victories in the 400-meter dash (57.98) and the triple jump (36 feet, 5 inches), second-place finishes in the 100 (12.75) and the 200 (25.66) and a third-place finish in the high jump (4 feet, 9 3/4 inches). She also ran on the first-place 4x100 relay team and the second-place 4x400 relay team. Overall, she scored 28.5 to lead the Bulldogs to their fifth straight conference championship.
