Jio Chang of Colorado College, a junior from Moraga, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her performance during the week spanning December 17 through January 6.
Chang was a triple-winner in the Tigers’ dual meet victory over St. Norbert. Chang won both the 50 and 500 free in 25.54 and 5:35.43, respectively. The junior also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay.
Other Outstanding Performances:
Freshman Alexis Wong was the top performer for Austin College at the Austin College Invite taking home victories in the 100 (1:36.26) and 200 (2:44.39) breast in addition to contributing to the 200 medley relay, which the Roos’ won in 1:58.75. Centenary freshman Brianna Serret earned two backstroke victories at the Austin College invite, winning the 100 in 1:03.50 and the 200 in 2:17.20.
