LAUREN WHEELER OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior from Southlake, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 10th.
Wheeler won the 50 (25.65), the 100 backstroke (1:00.49), and placed 2nd in the 200 backstroke (2:12.69) at the Austin College Invitational. Wheeler and the 'Roos placed third at the meet.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Robyn Remschel of McMurry University placed 1st in the 200 backstroke, 3rd in the 100 backstroke, 2nd in the 400 medley and first in the 400 free relay. Taylor Adams of Southwestern University finished second in the 200 fly/100 fly with a time of 2:16.77 & 1:01.94.
