IVY CLAFLIN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from El Paso, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 3rd.
Claflin won a closely contested 250 IM during the Tiger's saturday dual meet win against Whitworth. She posted a 2:58.23 in the off-distance IM event, which consisted of a 25 butterfly followed by 75s of backstroke - breaststroke - freestyle.
Claflin and the Tigers will be back in the pool on January 16th against Southwestern University.
