REBECCA ANDRUZZI OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Chicago, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 24th.
Andruzzi stepped up this past Saturday at TU's meet with University of Redlands capturing a tough double win during the Tiger's 147-111 loss to the Bulldogs. She first won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:28.76, just touching out team-mate Ashley Ward (who recorded a 5:28.95).
In the meet's final event, Andruzzi recorded a 19:08.62 first place finish in the 1650 freestyle, finishing nearly 30 seconds ahead of Redlands swimmer Cassidy Crampton. Andruzzi will next be competing at the SCAC Championships on February 10-11-12-13 in Lewisville, Texas.

Sophomore Robyn Remschel of McMurry University earned three first place finished last week in the 50 & 100 backstroke and the 500 free.
