SARAH AYERS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, January 10 through Sunday, January 16.
Ayers won three individual events in a dual meet against Trinity on Saturday. She set season best times in the 100 Free (55.02), 100 Fly (1:01.56), and was just two-hundredths of a second off a season best in the 50 Free (25.53).
Ayers also led off the second-place 400 Free Relay with a 55.09 leg and helped the team achieve its fastest time of the season.
