Miguel Vasquez of Centenary College, a freshman from Lafayette, La., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his performance during the week spanning November 26th through December 2nd. 

Vasquez outraced opponents at the the Hendrix College Invite winning the 100 free (47.57) and 100 back (52.00). The first year’s time of 52.00 in the 100 back is the fastest in the SCAC so far this season. 

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:

Freshman Max Saenz of Austin College earned first-place finishes in the  50 free (22.82) and 200 butterfly (2:08.73) as well as in the 200 relay where he swam the butterfly leg.
