DePauw Wins Fifth Consecutive SCAC President's Trophy
SUWANEE, Ga. - With spring championships in women's tennis and women's golf - in addition to second-place finishes in men's and women's track & field, baseball and men's tennis - DePauw University cruised to a 127.5 point victory in the race for the 2009-10 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference President's Trophy. It is the fifth consecutive all-sports trophy for the Tigers.

Record 782 student-athletes highlight SCAC Fall 2009 Academic Honor Roll
SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 783 student-athletes to the 2009 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Friday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 778 student-athletes. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 15,500 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their contributions in the classroom.

Colorado College rallies to win first ever regional title; SCAC has two in Elite Eight
REDLANDS, Calif. - Colorado College captured its first-ever regional title by coming from behind to defeat the University of La Verne in five sets on Saturday night. The Tigers trailed two sets to one and 7-3 in the fifth set, but used a 12-2 run to close out the set and post the 25-19, 20-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-9 victory.

Trinity advances to national quarterfinals with victory over Southwestern

Trinity tops Randolph-Macon in NCAA opener; Jenkins notches milestone win
GEORGETOWN, Texas - The fifth-seeded Trinity University Tigers beat No. 4 Randolph-Macon 25-23, 25-13, 22-25, 25-17 Thursday in the opening of the NCAA Division III South Region Volleyball Tournament at Southwestern University. The win was the 700th of Tiger head coach Julie Jenkins' illustrious career.

Hendrix Volleyball Team Helps Raise Money for Side-Out Foundation
CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team is on a mission to help raise money towards the Dig Pink: Side-Out Foundation which helps raise funds for Breast Cancer research. The Warriors will play their last home matches of the season on October 31 at 11a.m. and 3 p.m. against Ouachita Baptist University and Williams Baptist College, respectively, in the final matches of the inaugural Ghost Host Tournament.

Southwestern favored to win 2009 SCAC Volleyball Championship
SUWANEE, Ga. - For just the second time in league history, Southwestern University was selected as preseason favorites to win the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship. Southwestern was also the preseason favorite to win the league in 1998.
