Elizabeth Meyer, Millsaps College, Women's Tennis
ELIZABETH
MEYER OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a senior from
Monroe, La., has been named SCAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week
for matches played through Sunday, April 22.
Meyer was 3-1 on the week, including a 2-0
mark at #4 singles and 1-1 record at #2 doubles.
She won the deciding match on Friday against Meridian Community
College on senior day. She came from behind to win in three sets as
Millsaps earned the 5-4 victory.
On Saturday, Meyer gave the Majors a 2-1
lead in doubles against Oglethorpe and then clinched the fifth
point in singles.
