Brianna Young, Trinity University, Women's Soccer (Offensive)
BRIANNA YOUNG
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior midfielder from
Rockville Centre, N.Y., has been selected as the SCAC Women's
Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
September 14 through Sunday, September 20.
Young scored three goals and two assists to lead
sixth-ranked Trinity to a pair of road wins this past weekend.
Young knocked in the game-winner in
Friday’s SCAC opener at Austin College, breaking a 1-1 tie in
double overtime. On Sunday, Young scored twice and
assisted on the team’s other two goals to give her a total of
eight points this weekend.
For the season, Young leads the team with 12
points and four assists, and is second on the team with four goals.
Her game-winning goal on Friday was her second of the season.
