Katie Garrett, Trinity University, Women's Soccer (Co-Defensive)
KATIE GARRETT OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman goalkeeper from Cleburne, Texas has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 7 through Sunday, September 13.
Garrett made her third and fourth career starts over the weekend, shutting out both opponents to keep the Tigers unbeaten this season.
Garrett recorded a career-high seven saves on
Friday night against UT-Tyler, then added another save in
Sunday’s win over UT-Dallas.
In nearly 400 minutes this year, Garrett has
recorded four shutouts and 12 total saves for a 4-0-0 record as
Trinity's goalkeeper.
