Kate Willingham, Sewanee: University of the South, Women's Soccer (Co-Defensive)
KATE WILLINGHAM OF SEWANEE: UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a junior defender from Atlanta, Ga., has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 7 through Sunday, September 13.
Willingham anchored the Sewanee defense at the
Birmingham-Southern Invitational this weekend and the tournament
champion Tigers went 2-0 with wins over Berry and Mississippi
College.
The Tigers topped Berry 2-1 on Friday and
Willingham scored one of Sewanee's goals and then
the Tiger defense shut out the Choctaws on Sunday.
