KATIE ALDRICH
OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, sophomore forward from
Lexington, Ky., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, January 4 through Sunday, January 10.
Aldrich who came off then bench in both of the
Tigers contests over the weekend led averaged 18.5 points and 10.5
rebounds while playing just 19.5 minutes a game.
Aldrich was electric from the field shooting
77.3% on 17-of-22 field goal attempts. On Friday against Sewanee
Aldrich recorded 14 points, eight rebounds and two
assists in just 16 minutes of play.
Against Oglethorpe on Sunday, Aldrich posted 23
points and 13 rebounds both of which are career highs. For the
season Aldrich is averaging 9.8 points and 5.6
rebounds off the bench for the Tigers.
