Sharwil Bell, Rhodes College, Women's Basketball
SHARWIL BELL
OF RHODES COLLEGE, sophomore guard from Memphis,
Tenn., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games
played Monday, December 7 through Sunday, December 13.
Bell recorded her first career double-double in
the Lynx 91-78 win over Rust College on December 10th.
Bell led all scorers with 19 points and grabbed a
career high 11 rebounds.
Bell also dished out 5 assists and recorded 4
steals in the contest. She was 8-of-12 from the field and 3-of-3
from the free throw line.
For the season, Bell ranks high in numerous SCAC
offensive and defensive categories. Bell is 11th
in scoring (13.8 ppg), 16th in rebounding (6.3 rpg), 10th in FG
percentage (.467), second in assist/turnover ratio (2 to 1), fourth
in steals (2.4 spg) and fifth in assists (3.5 apg).
