Maggie Prewitt, Centre College, Women's Basketball
MAGGIE PREWITT OF CENTRE COLLEGE, sophomore guard from Mt. Sterling, Ky. has been named SCAC Co-Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, November 30 through Sunday, December 6.
Prewitt had a big week in helping Centre to a 2-0 record on the week. Prewitt averaged 16.5 points, 8.0 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals, while only turning the ball over twice.
In the Colonels 74-62 win over Birmingham Southern, Prewitt scored 11 points with seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Two days later, the sophomore guard notched 22 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and three steals in an 84-70 win over Rhodes.
On the season, Prewitt is averaging 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
