Christina Byler, Hendrix College, Women's Basketball
CHRISTINA
BYLER OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, senior forward from
Little Rock, Ark., has been named SCAC Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, February 15 through
Sunday, February 21.
Byler averaged 24.5 points and 12 rebounds in the
Warriors two wins this week. She led Hendrix to its first SCAC West
Division Crown with 26 points and eight rebounds against Austin
College on Friday night and then poured in 23 points and 16 boards
against Colorado College on Saturday. Byler went
on a tear after intermission with 20 of the Warriors’ 36
second-half points against Austin.
On the year Byler is averaging 16.9 points and 9.1
rebounds per game.
