Katy Williams, Austin College, Women's Basketball
KATY WILLIAMS
OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, senior forward from Sulphur
Springs, Texas, has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, February 8 through Sunday, February
14.
Williams scored 18 points and had 15 rebounds in
wins over both Trinity and Southwestern, and shot 52.2% from the
field and hitting 12-of-12 attempts from the free throw line.
On the year Williams is averaging 16.2 points per
game on 54.9% shooting to go along with 13.3 rebounds.
Williams 13.3 rebounds currently leads the SCAC
and is eighth in the NCAA.
