Danielle Hubenak, Trinity University, Women's Basketball

HUBENAK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a
junior guard from San Antonio, Texas, has been named
SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Sunday,
November 15 through Sunday, November 22.
Hubenak led 17th-ranked Trinity to a 2-0 record
to start up the 2009-10 season, pushing the Tigers to wins over
24th-ranked Hardin-Simmons and McMurry.
Hubenak averaged 18.0 points, 7.0
rebounds, and 9.0 assists over the two games, highlighted by her
triple-double in the season opener against nationally-ranked
HSU. She finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists
in the game.
For the week, she shot 55.0% from the floor (11-20), including
57.1% (4-7) from three-point range.
Last season, Hubenak was second on the team with
15.1 points/game and led the Tigers with a school-record 133
assists (4.75/game). She also collected 4.9 rebounds/game and
was second on the team with 53 total steals.
