SCAC Announces 2010 Women's Basketball Tournament Bracket

SUWANEE, Ga. - The SCAC office today announced the bracket for the 2010 women's basketball tournament, which will be begin Friday, Feb. 26 in Jackson, Mississippi. Tournament Bracket | Official Tournament Website | Hoops Weekly - Tournament Edition

DePauw University earned the top seed from the Eastern Division. The Tigers are ranked 17th nationally in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

Oglethorpe University, the fourth seed from the East, is the defending tournament champion.

Hendrix College earned the top seed from the Western Division. Hendrix, along with the #2 seed from the West Division Austin College, are both receiving votes in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

Southwestern University, although tied with Colorado College with a conference mark of 6-10, earned the fourth and final seed from the West Division over the Tigers due to a better divisional mark (4-6 vs. 3-7). 

Friday's quarterfinal round will be played at Belhaven College (click here for directions to Belhaven College), while Saturday's semifinal games and Sunday's championship game will all be contested at Millsaps College.

Saturday - Semifinals at Millsaps College

7 p.m. CT - Winner #1W/#4E vs. Winner #2E/#3W

Sunday - Finals at Millsaps College
