Andrew Battles, Trinity University, Men's Swimming
ANDREW BATTLES OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year swimmer from Colleyville, Texas has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets swam Monday January 19 through Sunday, January 25.
Battles helped lead the Trinity men to a second place finish at the Incarnate Word Spring Invite over the weekend. He posted conference best times in the 500 freestyle (4:46.11) and 1650 freestyle (16:24.41). His 1000 split (9:55.66) in the mile is also a conference best time. In addition, Battles swam a lifetime best 57.69 in the 100 backstroke and a season best 1:48.31 in the 200 freestyle.
