John Cook, DePauw University, Men's Swimming
JOHN COOK OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a senior from Leawood, Kan., has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, November 2 through Sunday, November 8.
Cook won the 50 free with a time of 21.57 just missing the Wittenberg pool record of 21.50. He then won the 100 free with a time of 47.50 breaking the Wittenberg pool record that had been around since 2000. Cook also anchored two winning DePauw relays with 21.30 on the medley and a 21.14 on the free.
