Mason Waddell, Austin College, Men's Soccer (Defensive)
MASON WADDELL OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior defender from Austin, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 3 through Sunday, September 9.
Waddell had an outstanding week for Austin
College as the ‘Roos went 2-0-1, consistently turning away
opposing attacks and marking the top scorers for Austin
College’s opponents.
In a 1-1 double overtime draw with Howard Payne
Waddell made the defensive play of the week when
he made a kick save from the ground on what would have been a game
ending goal in the second overtime period.
